We are very happy to announce that, at no cost, there is now a student reading lesson plan available (written by Mr. Oetiker, Teacher/Educator) that matches the curriculum of the Santa Clara University (SCU) Character Based literacy (CBL) Program.
DON’T SHOOT! I’M THE GUITAR MAN lesson plan teaches information every child needs to be aware of as they make their choices into their adulthood. Students will learn the knowledge that if they do not show restraint, they will be restrained by the Justice System. This most powerful student lesson plan has students keep Word Wall List, as well as settings, character and Page Number List, which is provided in this lesson plan. You can have your students keep a page of a list of Adverbs and a page of a list of Adjectives. They should be required to have in their English section of their ring binder that they turn in every morning for points towards their daily average.
